Ryan & Samantha :: Wedding

What a great weekend... I loved how unexpectedly warm it was!

It reminded me of a wedding we did last year that was suppose to be extremely cold weather, but it happened to be unexpectedly warm as well.

It was an awesome couple named Ryan and Samantha. They were so incredible! They were sweet, fun, so full of love, just an absolute joy to be around! They had the best weather for the wedding and closer to the evening, the sky became even more incredible, which added such sweet photos for their day! I couldn't believe how great it was, well... I take that back, I knew it was going to be fun, but it's always a fear of photographers to not be able to take advantage of the outdoors for photos and we did not even have to worry about that at all, which made the day even more AMAZING!

Winter is over already??? YAY!!!

I'm so excited...

For one, it's FRIDAY and who doesn't love that day?! And for two, it's warmer than it has been all year... Haha! Yay!

I can only dream we have a winter like we did last year... not much snow, warm temps early on, and unexpected sunshine that would warm your skin to a nice shade of brown. That would be A-MAZING!

I'm not a huge fan of winter. I hate being cold, but I guess you will have that for a little while when you live in a state that does indeed get cold and snow. I kind of wish it's like last year when we got warm weather earlier and it stayed warm. I'm looking forward to that already and it's not even half way through January. Let's just say my fingers are crossed! Ha... But I have been enjoying the few days this week with warmer temps to at least get outside for some fresh air and a walk. It has been much needed.

I have enjoyed watching my little man get all bundled up, the few times we have done this, to see if he enjoys the snow... So far, he's not a huge fan, but it could be the lack of mobility he has with the massive layers he has on. He is literally a human marshmallow! Poor guy... at least he has a good attitude.

Johnny & Abbey :: Wedding (Columbus, OH)

Brrr... it's a cold one today!

I would be ok with it, if we were to keep our heat up higher than we do. I'm walking around our house with probably four layers of clothing on, along with wool socks. I'm not quite sure why our house is so cold, but it is and I'm tempted to put some fingerless gloves on so I can continue typing here... haha!

Oh well... that's winter for you!

I am excited to have some time today to keep catching back up on all the posts I missed out on and one of those shoots was a wedding we did last year that was super cool and extra special in my heart. My roommate from college was married and asked us to be a part. Unfortunately, it was one of those weddings where only I could attend since it was down in Columbus, OH and Todd had to watch the little man, but it was amazing!

It was my first time meeting her now-husband, and they were are beautiful, happy, sweet, loving with each other... absolutely PERFECT for each other! Little did I know that shortly after their wedding they would move up here to Michigan and she is currently living only THREE miles away from us. Talk about a dream come true for us all!
