Brrr... it's a cold one today!
I would be ok with it, if we were to keep our heat up higher than we do. I'm walking around our house with probably four layers of clothing on, along with wool socks. I'm not quite sure why our house is so cold, but it is and I'm tempted to put some fingerless gloves on so I can continue typing here... haha!
Oh well... that's winter for you!
I am excited to have some time today to keep catching back up on all the posts I missed out on and one of those shoots was a wedding we did last year that was super cool and extra special in my heart. My roommate from college was married and asked us to be a part. Unfortunately, it was one of those weddings where only I could attend since it was down in Columbus, OH and Todd had to watch the little man, but it was amazing!
It was my first time meeting her now-husband, and they were are beautiful, happy, sweet, loving with each other... absolutely PERFECT for each other! Little did I know that shortly after their wedding they would move up here to Michigan and she is currently living only THREE miles away from us. Talk about a dream come true for us all!
Check out a few of my favorites from their day...
Venue: Everal Barn and Homestead
Dress: David's Bridal
Flowers: DIY
Cake: Local Bakery
DJ: DIY
Talk about a beautiful place to be married... so gorgeous!
Abbey was STUNNING...
As were her girls...
Johnny cleans up real well... Loved those brown suits!
Look at those guys... comfy in their TOMS...
Such a beautiful ceremony... Loved it!
Abbey was given away by not just one dad, but two... how lucky is she?! Or how heartbroken were those men that day?!
A sweet moment during a sweet reading...
Look at that beautiful wedding party...
Such a beautiful couple...
And funny... Haha!
Let the reception begin...
Look at that concentration... Haha!
One of the sweetest first dances... EVER!
Not a dry eye in the barn...
And it's a wrap...
I loved every minute of their wedding... it was an HONOR to be a part of this sweet occasion!
WELCOME!
