So last night was probably the funniest thing I have ever seen from Lil' B. My sister and I brought her with us out to dinner with our small group, and it was a bit late... well past her bed time. She did not want to go to sleep, so Todd took her and all of a sudden she just started talking to him. It was so funny as you could see her lips moving but only blah blah come out. Then he was talking back to her and she started laughing so hard. She kept going for probably 10 mins or so. I was crying I was laughing so hard! I was able to catch some of it and my sister got a video of it. She's so cute, and boy is she going to have fun with her uncle when she's older too! Hillll arious!!!
WELCOME!
Thanks again for coming by!

Busy Busy Busy...
It's been SOOOOO nice having company here! I apologize I haven't written on here yet this week, but when you have great company visiting you don't want to take time to do anything but hang out with them. I know I'm going to be so sad when they leave as I am enjoying my sister and of course Isabella here. I feel I'm missing out on so much, which makes me a bit sad.
BUT we learned about Skype, which for those of you who don't know about it... it's awesome! You can call someone on the computer for free and talk to them and even see them if they have a camera on their computer. Awesome! We've been using it to call my brother in law. So I will be able to call my sister and get to talk to her and see her and Lil' B (that's what I've been calling her)
Maddox is not sure what to do, every time she cries he barks and all he wants to do is take her socks off and run around with them in his mouth. He almost swallowed one today as they are so tiny they fit in his mouth. Ha! Luckily we got it out... He'll learn soon. But he's doing good. He's still young, but you can tell he gets jealous because she's getting all the attention instead of just him.
But I'm so glad to have such a great relationship with my sister and she is able to come visit. Yeah for Sisterly Love!
Here are a few photos I snapped of her today as we were singing Justin Timberlake to her. I think she likes it, but she's so slobbery right now. Haha!

Mr. & Mrs. Morris
I have been so excited for this week to get here.. my sister is here and she is staying ALLLLL week long. I am super excited to hang out with not only her... but Lil' Baby Isabella. I'm sure I'll have some photos of Lil' B along with the preview from our latest wedding yesterday. They were such a super fun couple! I will make sure to find some spare time to get those on the blog this week or early next week and I'm sure I will be occupied with poopy diapers, slobber, gaga noises and of course sister time!

That One Left a Mark... Ouch!
Our poor Jeep...
Not even a year old, someone decided to cut over in the lane Todd was in... LUCKILY, no one was injured, but it did leave a mark. It's going to take awhile to get fixed, but hopefully not too long!
Happy Tuesday!

We Miss Todd...
So we've been without Todd since Thursday... and not only me, but Maddox is pretty sad. As you can tell in the photos. Todd took a "vacation" as he would call it down to Nashville, TN to visit a good friend of his. I was really sad knowing he'd be gone right after we got our boy back. I can't imagine taking care of a child... this pup is easy, yet hard at the same time. I realize how severe his anxiety is, as he is incapable of being without anyone for literally a short amount of time. I'm hoping we can learn on how to help his behavior. I can't go upstairs or leave the room without him following or barking his head off because I'm not an arms length away. I know it's not his fault, and I'm not sure exactly what to do... but hopefully training him to be left alone for awhile and knowing we come back will help him to feel secure, plus giving him lots of love that he might not have gotten when he was a baby.
We are so excited for Todd to get home... Enjoy your Sunday... what a beautiful day out, even if it's a bit chilly!
I think he's just tired in this one... but I'm sure he's dreaming of his Daddy! ;)

HE'S BACK!!!!
After THREE LONG WEEKS... Maddox is finally better. We got the good news last week that he was doing great and we were able to pick him up on Sunday. We picked him up and it has been so great having him here. He's doing so good, and seems to be a much better fit than our last boy Rosco. Maddox is much calmer, yet still loves to play and loves to sleep! Yeah! He does have a bit of a problem when we are not around... but we'll work on that.
We are having fun and I'm sure we'll have lots of posts to keep updated with him.
Here is one I took today as he was playing with his rubber ducky...
P.S. We are now on The Knot, a bridal resource website. You can check us out here. Wooo...

Mike & Rosaria
Mike and Rosaria are two of the most nicest people I know now. They both are so sweet and are super fun! It was such a treat to work with an awesome bride & groom. You can just see how much they care for each other and how much they love each other, and it's so genuine! AND I can't forget to mention the bridal party, as I used to work with one of the bridesmaids, it made it extra fun! It was such an honor to be there not only as a photographer, but as a witness to their marriage. Both Todd and I had a wonderful time! Thanks guys for such a beautiful day! Couldn't have been any better!

Amanda: Senior
Amanda is such a sweetheart... she is artsy too, which I think is super cool! She even showed me some great trails near my house I can now run on, considering I'm going to be training for a 1/2 marathon. Yes, I'm much smarter this time around instead of the full 26.2 miles. I think if I had to do that again I would cut my legs off. Ha! Anyways... I had a great time taking photos of such a sweet and soft spoken girl! Good luck with art school, you are going to make an a great art teacher.
Here's the sideshow and some favorites... I'm finding myself drawn to more colored shots now than before, maybe it's the time of year where everything is so full of color and just gorgeous!

Josh & Talitha Engaged
One of the super fun couples I was able to capture over the weekend was Josh and Talitha. I had such a fun time getting to know both of them much better, as it seems Josh was apart of Todd and I's wedding, yet I didn't know him well at ALL. (He did the sound for our wedding) and here I am being involved in his wedding come December. Josh is also the drummer of The Mark White Band, a popular band from the Detroit area. Talitha... the super smart girl starting college at the young age of 15. Yep... I couldn't believe it either! But so mature for her age. Josh and Talitha were so fun to photograph being they are fun and treat each other so delicate, as you will see from the photos. You just want to say "Awww..." and it makes your heart melt.
Thanks guys for the great Friday night! I enjoyed getting to know you both much better and can't wait for December! What a beautiful time to get married!
Here's the slideshow and some of my favorites....
Here's your sequence Talitha... ;)
Something about this photos makes me just drawn to it...
I loved this alleyway... close quarters can only mean one thing...
This photo you can tell he just loves her so much...
This literally took a while for them to figure out... it's ok... not something you do every day! Ha!

Coming this Week...
What a wonderful weekend... not only did I get to work with TWO super fun couples... which was my favorite part, but another thing that topped the weekend highlights was... we got most of the trim work done that was still needed to get finished. It's FINALLY coming along, and it's ALMOST done! Wooo... I'm so tired of working on the house. I'm definitely going to take a long break with house work besides the daily cleaning, which amazes me how dirty things get when we don't even use half the house. Not sure where it all comes from... Oh well!
What's in store this week?
Josh & Talitha
And Mike & Rosaria
I'm so excited to finish these because I'm so happy with how they turned out. Great chemistry and awesome personalities!

Mr. & Mrs. Rotberg
David and Krystal are perfect for each other... she's so laid back... he's high strung! Haha! They balance each other out, but more than that they are so sweet and so kind and so loving and so giving... I could go on and on. It might be because I'm biased and I know them and love them to death, but seeing them get married was so nice and being their photographer was such an honor! I am so blessed to witness good friends of ours commit their lives together. I had such a great time as well! Such a great day it was... and although it was a bit toaster than I planned for, considering my sweater was sticking to me... literally black sweater on sweaty skin... not a good thing! But it was a perfect day and a perfect couple! Congrads you too... I love to dearly and can't wait to get together again as married couples! Yeah!!!
Enjoy... here are just a few of my favorites and the slideshow of more!
