Spring Break?

Spring Break? It's been so long ago. I remember my LAST Spring Break, Senior Yr. in college, I spent it in Michigan with my husband, we hung out at his family's house and he was SOOOOO sick. It wasn't a real great break for him to say the least, it was cold, no sun, no warmth, no tan, or laying by the pool. He had become so sick after break, that he ended up leaving the semester early due to finding out he had mono and was EXTREMELY weak and EXTREMELY ill. Let's just say it wasn't a great one for me either, not being able to do much. But, there were some really good Spring Breaks that I had other than my last one... I have memories of laying by the pool, sun, tanning, warm weather, and the most important thing... NO SCHOOL and NO HOMEWORK! That was the life!!

Well, believe or not people still have Spring Breaks at a later age as well, and my family came to visit this past weekend for a few days of THEIR Spring Break. My brother-in-law is an Assistant Principal and my sister is a substitute teacher, at the moment, and my mama was along for the ride. It was a ton of fun though!

My sister is showing her little baby bump now, she's 28 weeks preggers. We had plans to go to this baby expo that was going on out in Novi, and boy was it full of pregnant women, babies, dirty diapers, crying, screaming, babies, strollers, cribs, baby music, did I mention babies? Oh boy... a bit overwhelming.

I've gotten in this stage right now, where the thought of babies makes my hands and underarms start sweating, I get all weirded and freaked out about having my belly grow to an unimaginable circumference and I will no longer be able to see my feet, plus my belly button will no longer look like a belly button, but more like a weird bump on the huge bump of skin, not forgetting the outrageous hormones and cravings that are uncontrollable. Let's just say I'm not quite ready for myself to have one. BUT...I love seeing my sister pregnant though. She's adorable, and I wish I would have taken a few photos of her, but we got so busy that I didn't get a chance.

I did however get a couple photos of their first born, Berra, and my sexy hubby Todd. I hope it was a great couple days for Spring Break! Thanks for visiting and have fun the rest of break! Don't be too wild!
