Baby Jacob :: 2 months old

What a week it's been already...

I woke up last Thursday with a super sore throat... It felt like a fireball was stuck there, and it burned so bad every time I swallowed. Let's just say every chance I got to spit, I did! Ha! But the minute it stopped hurting, my nose started running... Ugh! One thing then the next! I wonder the minute I stop blowing my nose what will happen?! Let's hope that's it though. It seems like everyone is sick, especially this time of year. But how can you avoid it when one day is almost 60 degrees and the next is 20 and a blizzard outside? All I know is that I am counting down the days until it's spring... we are only 50 days away!

Speaking of 50 days...

Someone I know has only been alive about 50 days, and he's the sweetest, cutest little love muffin named Jacob. Oh he's so precious and such a little cuddler. I just met him the other day and I love him so much already. My dear yoga friend, Renee, who moved out to Seattle last year after getting married happened to be in town this week and we planned a little session for her newest love bug. What a blessing it was to see them both. I miss her so much! She's such a sweet and uplifting spirit... she's so strong and courageous, especially moving way across the country without even knowing anyone except her new husband. I think she's doing quite well and I cannot wait until the next visit she makes here.

Congratulations my love... Jacob is so precious and it was an honor to hold him and capture him while you were here!

Brandon & Diana :: Wedding

Anyone know how to get their child to sleep past 6 am? 

Oh heavens... I sure wish there was a magic trick for that one. It's days like today I wish I drank coffee, but cannot stand the taste of it, so I'll stick with my green tea. But of course that doesn't give me much energy. Oh well... living the dream right?! I'm loving most of the minutes... tired or not. I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead right?! Ha! 

But on to something more interesting... Haha!

Brandon and Diana are literally the sweetest couple... both are so warm, so friendly, and so genuine. They are full of love... and SO IN LOVE! It was great to spend the day with them while they became husband and wife, and their wedding was absolutely incredible! 

They were married at one of the most beautiful churches, they had amazing weather, they had incredible friends and family surrounding them, and it couldn't be any better! 

Congratulations you guys... we had a BLAST!

Baby Nora Jane :: Newborn

Cousins...

I grew up with a few, but always wish I had more. I always wanted to belong to a big family and remember in college when I visited a friend's family and there were six of them. Each one of them had their own personality, their own unique style, their own interests, it was so intriguing to me. Ever since then, I had this desire to have a big family. Still working on that though... haha! But one thing I'm excited for is for Jackson to belong to a big family... that's still being worked on from all angles, as well. We're going to have to talk to a few people and have to do some persuading to get some new life to being born, but we have some time... Haha!

But in the meantime, we are enjoying each and every little family member that comes along. One of those precious little ones is our little cousin Nora Jane. She is the sweetest, most precious little girl and we love when we get to see her as she's growing so quickly, as most kids do. She is honestly the sweetest! I realize she is much bigger now, but I can't forget how precious she was when she was just born....
